Last updated: May 24, 2026

Sure Vendors ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Sure Vendors web application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our Service. By using Sure Vendors, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1.1 Account Information
When you register, we collect your full name, email address, and a hashed password. You may optionally provide a phone number used for WhatsApp integration within the Service.

1.2 Business and Transaction Data
To provide the core features of the Service, we collect the sales records, customer names and phone numbers, product details, order amounts, payment statuses, expense records, and debt records that you enter. This data belongs to you and is used solely to power your account.

1.3 Shop and Public Profile Data
If you activate your public vendor shop, information you provide — including your shop name, shop bio, WhatsApp number, and product listings — will be publicly visible on your shop page. You control what you publish.

1.4 Payment Information
Subscription and service fee payments are processed by Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processor. We do not store your card details. We receive a payment confirmation, transaction reference, and the amount paid from Paystack.

1.5 Referral and Earnings Data
If you participate in the referral programme, we store your unique referral code, referral relationships, commission amounts earned, and any payout request details you submit, including your bank account information for earnings withdrawals.

1.6 Crowdfunding Data
If you create a crowdfunding campaign, campaign details you provide — including your business name, location, financial situation, and campaign description — may be publicly visible. Supporter contributions are linked to campaign totals and we process supporter payments through Paystack on your behalf.

1.7 Sales Booster Data
If you use the Sales Booster feature, we collect your campaign preferences, budget settings, duration, and payment confirmation for the booster service fee.

1.8 Usage Data
We automatically collect technical information including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and session timestamps. This data is used to maintain security and improve performance.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

4.1 Your data is stored on servers in compliance with Nigerian data protection principles. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and apply industry-standard security practices to data at rest.

4.2 Access to your account data is restricted to your own authenticated session. Administrators access data only to resolve technical issues or respond to legal obligations.

4.3 While we implement reasonable safeguards, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for notifying us immediately of any suspected unauthorised access.

6. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

6.1 Access and Correction: You may view and update your account name, email, and phone number at any time from your profile settings page.

6.2 Account Deletion: You may delete your account from the profile page. Deletion permanently removes your personal data and all associated business records within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate fraud prevention.

6.3 Data Portability: You may export your sales data as a PDF report at any time from your dashboard.

6.4 Withdrawal of Consent: You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of any data processing that occurred prior to withdrawal.
